"From the outset, Tutor Doctor were easy to talk to and listened to our needs for a tutor. They took time to come and meet our daughter first and then decide which tutor would work well with her. Yvette has worked with Sarah during both of her GCSE years. She has been brilliant . She and our daughter have established a lovely rapport and Sarah's confidence and understanding in French has improved enormously - from being hesitant and unsure, to having a good grounding in verbs and tenses and a far stronger vocabulary. Written and spoken French has very much improved. The main purpose of seeking a tutor was not to push our daughter to get high grades- but to ensure she didn't struggle and lose confidence - so that she had a focus for learning. Sarah is now routinely achieving A and A* grades in school French tests, including in her mocks , whereas previously she may have managed a C. Obviously we are all delighted with this.
