"I was very impressed by the initial home visit when my son was assessed in order to determine his academic ability and also to gage what he was like on a personal level. We were visited by such a warm friendly person who engaged my son in conversation and made him feel very comfortable and excited about the idea of a tutor. He was then carefully assigned to a tutor who was matched according to his specific needs, personality and learning styles. Since starting his tutoring he has thoroughly enjoyed his sessions and looks forward to it each week. He is always set some homework, which we requested, in order to reinforce what had been covered in the lesson. Work set is always marked and appropriate feedback is given each week. Our tutor always talks through what she has covered in the session and highlights any difficulties or concerns that she'd identified. We also receive a weekly report highlighting what was covered in the session and specific difficulties that my son may have encountered.
