"They come to your house, they don't pile on extra homework that can overwhelm with adding to already stress full homework hours. Instead they will help with current homework and work on problem areas. They make sure the child learns the basic skills that have been skipped in their education. The tudors are always in contact, even to let us know they will be a few minutes late due to heavy traffic. Our daughter has made a huge improvement in her grades, as well as her confidence levels. "What I liked about the Tutor Doctor services is that the initial meeting is made easy for us busy parents. The convenience of making our first meeting in our home and having the pre-screening/"How your child learns" survey accomplished with our child in one hour was super! The readily available results made shortly after this one sitting is terrific and then the process of matching my child with a Tutor Doctor Tutor began. Our match with Mr. Zen Kuriyama was perfect for our daughter, Mei Lee!!! We were fortunate to have four hours available to us,so, our plan was to have one hour per week with Mr. Zen for four weeks. Upon our first meeting, within that one hour, Mr. Zen and Mei Wai diligently worked on a school project that was due in a couple of days and happily to say, the Language Arts teacher praised her for a job well done!! We highly recommend any busy family this wonderful concept of Tutor Doctor, indeed a "prescription" for keeping the tutoring sessions well-balanced and in harmony with life's juggles:)!!! Mahalo!”
