"I think of myself as a very intelligent person, but I was having a difficult time helping my son with his grade 4 homework. As teaching styles have changed significantly since I went to school, doing homework was constantly stressful and frustrating for both of us and my son was getting very discouraged. I just happened to be talking to one of my sons classmates mom about homework and expressed my frustrations and I was delighted to find that I was not the only one. She referred me to Tutor Doctor. Three main reasons why I would highly recommend Tutor Doctor - First, they make house calls - so from a childs perspective, they don't have to go to "another school" after school. Second, there is no set agenda - my son feels comfortable approaching his "coach" to help with any subject or questions he feels uncomfortable asking in front of his classmates or his parents. Third, my son is able to relate to his "coach" , never mind that he thinks she is really cute! (which she is). She has a far better understanding of his homework and recognizes how to work with him.. Money well spent!”
