"Shannon paired my daughter with a tutor that my daughter adores. The tutor makes math enjoyable for my daughter and she was able to catch up and maintain grade level work. I had worries that my daughter would be intimidated by a tutor and dread spending and hour of her Saturday(s) working on math. On the contrary, she looks forward to the time and even at her young age appreciates that she is not behind her classmates at school. Tutoring has built up her confidence and she has a better comfort level when faced with problems she cannot immediately solve. Learning different ways to approach math problems is a great tool for her even if it is not the method taught at school, however our tutor is familiar and also reinforces the methods taught at school.”
