"From an educational perspective, we like the flexibility of the tutors we've had. We started with middle school math, then added some time for 2nd grade math, and most recently added middle school science. When our daughter started, she didn't even know what questions to ask. Now, she not only improved her NWEA math scores over the summer (which we hear is rare), but she was also able to move to a higher math class as a result. We also appreciate that the tutors come to our home, which is more effort on their part, but really helps us in that we don't have to pile everyone in the car once or twice a week.”

"We love the fact that the tutors are certified educators. Each tutor has a different approach but they all have an enormous number of "tools" in their box for helping a struggling child understand a concept. They know exactly what the child needs to be working on in their grade level. We know the specialized training that educators go through to learn how to guide a child and we see that making a HUGE difference for our daughter. We have been using Tutor Doctor for over a year and will always turn to them in the future when our daughter needs a little extra help. We know we could hire a college student or something for less money - but a college student who is good at math does not necessarily know how to TEACH math... that is a special skill that educators hone over time and we see the huge difference that makes to our daughter.
